The story of Amazing Grace Associated Ministries Inc. begins with a simple, profound conviction: that every person in Estevan, Saskatchewan deserves to encounter the transforming grace of God. In the rolling prairies of southeastern Saskatchewan, where the winters are long and the community bonds are deep, a group of faithful believers gathered together with a shared vision — to build a ministry that would serve not just the spiritual needs of the community, but the whole person: body, mind, and soul.
What began as a small gathering of prayer partners and scripture study groups grew steadily into a fully-fledged nonprofit organization. Registered as a Canadian charity under the registration number 734254808RR0001, Amazing Grace Associated Ministries Inc. became a legal nonprofit entity with a mandate to serve Estevan and the broader Saskatchewan region without distinction or discrimination.
Over the years, our ministry has expanded its programs and reach significantly. We have walked with families through seasons of joy and sorrow. We have provided food hampers to households facing hardship. We have offered prayer, counseling, and spiritual direction to those navigating life's most difficult crossroads. We have celebrated births, mourned losses, and marked milestones alongside the people of Estevan — because we understand that ministry is not an event but a relationship.
Our name — Amazing Grace — reflects both the heart of our theology and the character of our community. We believe that grace is amazing precisely because it is undeserved and unconditional. It meets people in their brokenness and lifts them toward wholeness. It crosses every social, economic, and cultural boundary. And it calls each of us not merely to receive grace but to embody and extend it to others. With over two decades of pastoral experience, Pastor David leads our congregation with a heart for people and a deep commitment to biblical truth and community transformation.
Sister Grace oversees all community outreach programs, coordinating food hamper distributions, hospital visits, newcomer welcome initiatives, and volunteer engagement across Estevan.
Brother James brings energy and passion to our volunteer management and youth programs, building the next generation of servants and leaders in our Estevan community.
Estevan is more than our postal address — it is our home. The people, the land, and the spirit of this southeastern Saskatchewan city have shaped who we are as a ministry. We are proud to be a locally-rooted organization that serves our immediate community first, while maintaining a global perspective rooted in the universal love of God.
Our connection to Estevan runs deep. We participate in city-wide community events, partner with local organizations, and have built lasting relationships with schools, hospitals, and social service agencies throughout the region.
